Skream (real name Oliver Dene Jones) is a pioneering British DJ and producer from Croydon, South London, renowned for his influential role in the development of dubstep. Emerging in the early 2000s, he co-founded the dubstep supergroup Magnetic Man alongside Benga and Artwork.

Dubstep Origins: Skream's early work, including the seminal track "Midnight Request Line" (2005), helped define the dubstep genre with its heavy basslines and sparse rhythms. ​

Genre Expansion: Around 2013, Skream transitioned towards house, disco, and techno, showcasing his versatility and willingness to explore new musical landscapes.
