Sita Shah is a DJ and Creative who’s been making waves in the London scene. She’s a member of the Daytimers and Sisu collectives and resident DJ at techno night Makaan.

Sita demonstrates a different way of navigating the familiar techno zone, going fast and furious with a crate of self-styled ​“desi techno”. Think four-to-the-floor mixed with M.I.A edits, tricked-out Bollywood songs and bhangra basslines going 100 miles an hour.

She’s part of a new generation of nails-hard practitioners who are taking techno in subtly fresh directions.
