Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Mauro Fernandes was immersed in house music at the age of 7! When he started to listen to live recordings of after-hours sets at the biggest club in Lisbon "Kremlin". Soaking in these cherished tapes non-stop, he waited for the day he would be old enough to get into the clubs and see his favourite dj's play live. At 14 Mauro moved to Africa, becoming influenced with the more "unusual" tribal beats of African Music, by that time he start to get involved in Angola's Hip Hop underground movement making beats and as Mc and made some collaborations with a Local Rock Band. Finally at the age of 24 Mauro moved to London, reaching the "cold paradise" of dance music, where he found himself falling in love with Tech-house, Minimal & Techno and influenced by the London underground after-hours parties. He dusted off his rusty production skills and enrolled in a Music Production and Sound Engineering course.
