Kelly Lee Owens is a Welsh electronic musician, producer, and singer-songwriter renowned for her innovative fusion of ambient techno, dream pop, and experimental electronic music. Her work is celebrated for its emotive depth, intricate soundscapes, and genre-defying compositions.

Owens began her musical career as a bassist and backing vocalist for the indie band The History of Apple Pie. After moving to London, she worked in record stores and interned at XL Recordings, where she connected with electronic artists like Daniel Avery. Her collaborations with Avery, including vocals on his 2013 album Drone Logic, marked her entry into electronic music.
