dBridge, born Darren White, is a seminal figure in the evolution of drum and bass music. With a career spanning over three decades, he has continually pushed the boundaries of the genre through his innovative productions, influential collaborations, and the establishment of the forward-thinking label Exit Records.

dBridge's journey began in the early 1990s as part of the duo Future Forces Inc. alongside DJ Maldini. Their work laid the groundwork for the formation of the drum and bass supergroup Bad Company, which included DJ Fresh and Vegas. The group released iconic tracks such as "The Nine," "Planet Dust," and "Nitrous," which are considered classics in the drum and bass canon.

In 2003, seeking creative freedom, dBridge founded Exit Records. Initially a platform for his solo projects, the label quickly became a hub for experimental and genre-defying music. Exit Records has released works from artists like Calibre, Commix, and Instra:mental, and has been instrumental in the development of the Autonomic sound—a blend of minimal, melodic, and ambient elements within drum and bass.

dBridge's solo debut album, The Gemini Principle (2008), showcased his versatility and willingness to explore new sonic territories. Subsequent releases, including the Mosaic compilations, further cemented his reputation as a pioneer in the genre.

Known for his meticulous production and emotive compositions, dBridge's music often transcends traditional drum and bass structures. His collaborations with artists like Kid Drama in the Heart Drive project and his work under the alias Velvit, where he delves into techno and house, exemplify his commitment to innovation and genre fusion.
